Prof. Philippe Seksik

Professor of Gastroenterology at Sorbonne University and Chief of the Gastroenterology & Nutrition Departmen at Saint-Antoine Hospital. 

His expertise includes inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD), focusing on host-microbiota interactions and the pathophysiological consequences of intestinal dysbiosis. He has held various prestigious roles, including Co-Director of the INSERM research team, member of the GETAID scientific committee, and Vice-President of the Ile-de-France Gastroenterology Council. His research aims to understand the natural history and treatment impacts of IBD through clinical and translational studies.
